Psychosis & Psychotic Disorders

Psychosis in children or teens often presents with symptoms like hallucinations, where they see or hear things that aren't physically there, or delusions, which are strong beliefs not based in reality. They may also exhibit disorganized thinking or speech patterns, making it difficult to follow their logic or understand their communication. Behaviorally, they might withdraw socially, show heightened anxiety or suspicion, or experience sudden mood changes.
