Disruptive, Impulse Control, & Conduct Disorders
Impulse control, conduct disorder, and other disruptive disorders in children and teens often manifest as persistent patterns of aggressive, defiant, and antisocial behavior. Symptoms include frequent temper tantrums, physical aggression, lying, theft, vandalism, and severe rule violations. These behaviors can lead to significant issues in school, at home, and in social settings. Without proper intervention, these disorders may continue into adulthood, increasing the risk of substance abuse, criminal and forensic activity, and difficulties in maintaining relationships and employment.
